RConnect Terms of Service

Please read this Terms of Service Agreement (these "Terms") carefully, as it constitutes legally binding terms and conditions between you, as the user of our Services and RConnect Limited and its affiliates ("RConnect," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms apply to your use of and access to our housing platform, including our website at RConnect, and all related services (collectively, the "Services").

Use of our Services is limited to users 18 years of age and older who can form legally binding contracts. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• Your use complies with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations
• You are not prohibited from using our Services under Nigerian law
• All information you provide is accurate and truthful

To access certain features of our Services, you must register for an account by creating a username and password or by linking external accounts (such as Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

We collect and use your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may be required to verify your identity for certain Services.

To maintain a safe and positive environment, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable Nigerian laws or regulations
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, discriminate against, or threaten other users
• Use the platform for any illegal activities
• Attempt to circumvent our security measures
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our Services
• Post content that infringes on others rights
• Spam or send unsolicited communications

RConnect owns all rights to the platform, including software, design, trademarks, and content. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a license to use it for providing our Services. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform or its content without permission.

By uploading content, you represent that you have the right to do so and that it doesn't infringe on others rights.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, please contact us with:

• Your contact information
• Description of the copyrighted work
• Location of the allegedly infringing material
• Statement of good faith belief that use is unauthorized
• Statement that the information is accurate
• Your physical or electronic signature

Certain Services may require payment. All fees are stated in Nigerian Naira and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. We may change our pricing with advance notice.

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and maintaining sufficient funds.

As a housing provider, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete listing information
• Comply with applicable housing laws and regulations
• Not discriminate against potential renters
• Maintain your property in safe, habitable condition
• Respond promptly to inquiries and bookings
• Honor confirmed bookings and agreements

As a renter, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself
• Treat properties with respect and care
• Follow property rules and local laws
• Pay all agreed-upon fees on time
• Communicate respectfully with providers
• Report any issues or damages promptly

Users are responsible for resolving disputes directly with each other. RConnect may provide assistance but is not obligated to mediate disputes. Users are liable for any damages they cause to accommodations or other users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Nigeria.

All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. This includes subscription fees, verification fees, and service charges. Failure to complete verification processes does not qualify for refunds.

In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
